About Us


In 2016, Chef Janielle experienced the loss of her mother, Donna Gogi Grant. Through her mother, she was introduced to a variety of flavours and unique cooking styles from a young age.

Her mother taught the invaluable lesson of making the most of what you have, even when it doesn’t seem like enough. In her words, “Tun yuh hand mek fashion,” meaning, “Make the best use of whatever you have.”

Inspired by this legacy, Chef Janielle created Donna’s Catering to honor her mother’s memory. Everything she learned from Donna remains at the core of her craft, shaping every dish and every moment shared through food.
